League Entry & Prize Pool

The league has 12 franchises. Entry is $50 per owner, producing a $600 prize pool with 12 owners.

The website does not track whether an owner has paid. It records the official prize structure and winners.

Preseason Draft

Each franchise drafts five college football teams. FBS and FCS teams are eligible.

The FozCFG draft does not use a normal snake format:

The draft is conducted through the FozCFG Draft Center. Commissioner Mode may be used when needed.

Weekly AP Poll Scoring

Weekly scoring is based on the Associated Press college football poll.

• AP #1 scores 1, AP #2 scores 2, and so on.
• Teams receiving votes outside the Top 25 are scored in listed order beginning with 26.
• A team receiving no AP votes scores 50.
• Tied ranks/scores are ordered alphabetically for display and COUNT/DROP purposes.

Best Four of Five Count

Each franchise owns five teams, but only its four best weekly scores count.

The fifth/worst score is marked DROPPED. The four counting scores are added for the weekly total.

Lowest total is best.

Midseason Standings

The midseason checkpoint occurs during the week containing the official Midseason Cuts deadline configured on the site.

The site preserves the Midseason Champion and Midseason Runner-Up and their scores.

If owners are tied, the franchise with the highest-ranked owned team wins the tiebreaker.

Mandatory Midseason Cuts

Each owner must cut at least two teams after the second Saturday in October and may cut as many as all five.

Cuts are submitted through the FozCFG Midseason Cuts page using the franchise PIN.

If an owner fails to submit by the deadline, the commissioner may enter forced cuts.

Midseason Redraft

The redraft pool contains all cut teams plus every other unowned eligible college team.

Redraft order is based on the league standings at the cutoff, with the worst franchise selecting first.

An owner's number of redraft opportunities equals the number of teams that owner cut, so the redraft may run from 2 to 5 rounds.

Owners may pass. Commissioner Mode may be used to run the entire redraft.

Season Championship

The overall champion is the franchise with the lowest final score. The Overall Runner-Up is second.

If owners are tied, the owner with the highest-ranked team overall wins the tiebreaker.

College Football Playoff Pool

Choose seven different playoff teams and assign values 7 through 1, with 7 the strongest pick.

Each time a selected team advances, the owner earns the assigned value. Byes earn no points.

1st Tiebreaker: combined points in the National Championship.
2nd Tiebreaker: combined first downs in the National Championship.

If still tied after both tiebreakers, the $50 prize is split evenly.

NFL Playoff Pool

Choose seven different NFL playoff teams and assign values 7 through 1.

The seven selections must include at least 3 AFC and at least 3 NFC teams. The seventh team may come from either conference.

Each advancement earns the assigned value. Byes earn no points.

1st Tiebreaker: combined points in the Super Bowl.
2nd Tiebreaker: combined first downs in the Super Bowl.

Both tiebreakers must be submitted. If still tied after both, the $50 prize is split evenly.
